I dont understand what ur asking...i assume your using objectbar because this post is in the customizing windows section
Finderbar changes based on what window u have open on the desktop. If its internet explorer, the File..Edit..View, etc menu that is normally on that window itself, will show on the taskbar
If its a normal folders or something, again finerbar changes to the menu items on folders, if its windows media player, the same thing, it will change based on the menu for windows media player.
and when u click on an empty area on ur desktop....it will default back to normal, because a window isn't open
cheers thats good thanks
They only problem is with programs like Firefox use a diffrent way to work than most windows, so that makes it impossible to read it's menu bar.
You might as well wait for the updated version of objectbar thats supposingly comming out anytime now. Quite frankly, i cant stand this version, all it does is screw up and crash. NOTHING good has come of me using it, its just a time consumer to try and fix, and to make things look how they should. This is one App, that i think seriously NEEDS a damn tutorial. Have you actually tried editing things on the toolbar, like what the F@#$, looks simple eh...
But yeah, wait and see what the updated version has to offer, it must be way better than this crap , it just has to be....i hope it is....MEH, probably not

If you re using objectbar, you can just right click on "finder" in the finderbar, and then click on "use the active window's text (When applicable)" and that s it....

That new version of Objectbar is taking A G E S, I thought it would be launched after the launch of DesktopX, version 3 (because their supposed interactiveness), but we're still waiting...
Weanwhile WindowBlinds 4.51 was launched, but still no Objectbar...no new WindowFX, not even integrated into WindowBlinds as it should be, instead of having to start all those different apps for the OS X feel... :slant:
