How do you make a png link to a file...
I want to replace the desktop icons with icons for games... BIG icons... i saw people doing it in samurize... or i think i did (damn mushrooms 
)
I have the pngs there, i just cant figure out how to link them to stuff
EX: i want a gta3 icon to open C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA3.exe
This is how we do it....
Add the PNG of ones choice in Samurize..
then add a text meter with blanks for the text...
turn on the meter linking option...
link that meter to the folder/exe of ones choice
resize the text meter to cover the graphic
overlay the text meter ontop of the graphic...
save the config...run it in Samurize...and...
TADA...big, phat, stinky icons on j00 desktop, mang!

Grusic: i'm using samurize 0.84b and i can't find the meter linking option, though i've seen it on the 0.83 i believe...am i missing something? where is it?
ok so i see meter linking is exclusive to 0.85, so I downloaded it...here's the problem. When I run the client is says the beta is expired and to go to samurize.com to get a new version...WTF is this!! i deleted it and tried using my 0.84 and it says the same thing!! I don't want to use 0.63 again...anyone know how i can fix this?

Then the expiration date will disappear.
Seriously though, I have that problem also. I suspect the developers will release a new version very soon.
