just want to suggest if you can make a different category for each resolutions to avoid request
thanks
Wide-Screen and Standard resolutions for wallpapers
As per my PM...
My views are the following:
1. It will mean into a huge effort to re-educate people into posting in the right categories/moving things to the right place
2. If people like a wallpaper in the non-widescreen category, they will still request for a widescreen version, thusly removing the purpose of the actual subsectioning...

I've posted a few walls over the last few weeks and had no requests for widescreen versions... and any way alot of people seem unable to even post their new releases in the Release section!
I think it just might be easier to just remind everyone to include a widescreen version if there are a lot of requests... maybe sticky something in the Wallpaper section regarding this.
Or authors could make their own widescreen versions at their discretion...
Or people could download the 1600x1200 versions (if they exist) and fire up Photoshop.
Or paint...
It's really not that hard for someone to make their own... it's just a matter of canvas size adjustments.
BTW: Derelikt, I'm back online (was moving a lot of siding)
okay guys u win
i just based my suggestion like on interfacelift that just click ur desired resolution.. anyways that's all thanks for all the comments
OT: I just hooked up a second monitor (just need to order a power cable for it) so how about some more dual wallpapers?
Back on topic, I don't think there should be any separate sections, walls are walls, if you make the forums too complicated with all the different subforums, people are gonna get confused and more frustrated, causing more unneeded threads.

Ok, whats considered to be widescreen anyway? i have a laptop thats 15'4inch widescreen, 1280 x 800 resolution. But some resolutions on here are like 1600 x 1200........like....what????
1152x768 and 1440x900 are the common Mac laptop screens.
good
but im not doin this for my self anyways .. well lucky you coz some of you can just do it on PS or some image editor and do some editing but for some .. hmm oh well ![]()
Slightly off-topic - I would like to vote that wallpaper releases are blocked from members replyin, now that we have the Thanks button, I personally don't think any additional posts are necessary, and if a member has something to say they can PM.
I feel it just distracts from the focus of the thread and on occassion I've seen people thanking the people for thanking them
- which just decends into a quagmire of spam.
This may come accross as pretentious or whatever, but all I'm saying is "heres a wallpaper, download it, enjoy it and press the thanks if you like it!"
