Don't know if any of you ever go to see some of those trailers in the Quicktime section of Apple, but they got some scary **** there, check these trailers out...

Remember Waterworld (1995)? $300 million budget and complete fiasco.
On a different note: remember Clerks (1994)? $2000 budget and this movie is considered as a revelation.
Or take european movies....like russian 'Return' for instance. You don't need zillions of dollars to make a breathtaking movie

Yeah, most of the movies are just hollywood crap, the only moive that I saw from that apple trailor list is "The Jacket" and the only one I am looking foward to is "Sin City" apart from that apple doesn't have a large assortment of foreign indie films.
Some of the best movies in the world were made with less than 1million dollars, far less in fact, take "Stalker" for example, wonderful movie, low budget (I know you hate this movie Pe8er but it rocks imo) . Anyways just my two cents

that's my view of it 
I am looking forward to seeing Ring 2, the first one I thought was very good (even though it was a rip lol). But you know how sequels are......
Another thing, I am just wondering if there is anyone else out there that does not like Star Wars and hated the Matrix? I think I maybe the only one.

all the hollywood remakes of good jap movies suck. like, in the old movies, they build the movie up, and make u get this wierd funny feeling, and then something sceary happends. in the remakes on the otherhand, they make u scream by adding stupid sound effect on stupid places like 5 min in the movie, it's not right, thats not what scary movies is all about.. sorry for my sucky english..
@shark: personally i hated all the star wars movies and whatnots. the matrix was only good for the first part. i don't think they shoulda done the sequel
@magnus: the original ring was AWESOME the ring in english was a bit too overdone i feel... still i wouldn't mind watching the ring 2 just for comparison with scary movie 4/5

yes it is. dunno why america likes to remake japanese movies. like dark water
they make remakes of not only jap movies, but they made a remake of dawn of the dead, and now they are making day of the dead, witch is number 2 and 3. why make remakes of 2 and 3 and not no. 1?
Hitchhikers is the only movie I'm looking forward to this year. April 29th can't come soon enough. I can't wait to see all the toys that will come out too. (Gotta get me one of them Mavin figures.)
