Just logged out of Hnko and back into this and it took 2 tries but it worked, too bad the server will be down soon...
EDIT: And Timan you can delete Hnko now if you want, thanks ![]()
Well I dunno if this was mentioned before, but your username is case sensitive when logging in. I don't think I ever had to care about that before until recently... was that recently changed?
Got the logging in error an hour ago. Man i've never seen anything like it. Thought someone had got onto my account and had changed the password and email. But i know something was up since i could reset my password. And then when i reset it. I still couldnt log in.
Not exactly a feature. Hope this gets fixed :S
Edit: and i cant change my password because it says current one is invalid? wtf!
Same here as most people. the other day my pw didn’t work, I tried like a bunch of times and got fed up, reset my pw, logged in with the new # pw, then I went to change my pw back, and I said that the pw I entered isn’t my current pw (see quote below), when I copy/pasted it straight out of the email... vie reset and tried to change my pw, like 5 times now, still doesn’t work.
Ps. this all happened after I cleared all information' in the privacy tab in Firefox.
The password you have entered does not match your current one. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!
EDIT: Yay!, a good 5 hours wait or soo, try again, and i was able to change my password! next time i cant log in, im just going to wait, and not attempt to reset the pw. BTW, if there is anyhope of getting this fixed please try guys!
This is just not cool!!! I can login only through IE, and even then I cant change my pass/// ![]()
Not sure what to say, I've yet to have these problems, its not a skin issue, because I put the default vb templates inplace. I've searched through vb's forums, and there was nothing like this, repaird the mysql servers so don't know.
I ran all that I could on our site so if there are still problems, not sure what it can be, we're now on a new server, I've put the default VB3 templates in login parts and password parts, I've repaired the mysql database. Done everything. Not sure what it can be if you guys still are getting these problems.
Getting the logging in problems constantly in FireFox now. Having to use ie. Ah well
Hey Timan,
I just got the problem again. Had to use IE to login. ![]()
I have a biiig theory about this whole problem. I beleive it is broswer related, possibly just with Firefox 1.0.2 I have been having weird caching problems with various different sites just after I downloaded and installed firefox 1.0.2 This problem effects random images disappearing, even after a cleared cache and a shift-cntrl-r; and also effects login pages, only after i have just cleared the cache. Until i can pin-point what exactly within the cache is causing these problems I will try rolling back to firefox 1.0.1, and try replicating these problems.
Ps. Timan, arent you using a mac? meaning you'd probly be using Safari, Camino, or Firefox 1.0.1. try updating to firefox 1.0.2, http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/all.html
EDIT: Disregard that last part, as the mac firefox ver. has a totally diff structure, and thats why this problem doesnt effect you.
EDIT2: If anyone else wants to roll-back to Fx 1.0.1 to see if the problems are fixed. a download can be found here: http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/fir....1/win32/en-US/
EDIT3: HA! after rolling back to 1.0.1 and clearing the cache to replicate the problem. I was able to login successfully, where as on Fx 1.0.2 replicating the problem rendered me unable to login.
-Timmy.
Well I use PC's at school and I've been able to login fine with IE and the Firefox 1.0 which they have on those systems. So thats why I think its a firefox issue with the newer version, I may be wrong but it seems thats the only thing thats in common with everyones login problems.
Think I found a solution, when logging in, instead of pressing return, press the login button. See if that works.
nope, same issue, its definatly firefox thats the error, as I just logged in with IE fine
Well I was at school and I got the error for the first time (was using firefox on my thumbdrive) and I pressed enter and I get the error, I went back, did it again, got the same error, then i went back pressed the login button, and it worked :/
I take back what i said earlier about it being 1.0.2 specific. ive had problems with 1.0.1 now...
Pressed the button , used one login attempt.
Re-Opend the main page (news one) , clicked forum , pressed enter for login
worked ![]()
i re-register because i can't log in with internet explorer, firefox and safari!
and i wanted to log in with the new registered name but couldn't get in.......
i can only come in here at home!!!!
Login doesn't work for me either. I had success after the 10th time or so that I requested a new password. Now I am logged in at home as I have set a cookie, but as soon as I try to log in with the new password at work, still no success regardless the browser used. Something seems to be severely bugged with the login process.
finnaly i reach the forums ![]()
i tried many many times in firefox,IE,Maxthon and it's very difficult to log in ![]()
systeme:windows XP Pro SP2
