How can i make this aqua button in photoshop???

Hi

I've been looked over the net for a good tuturial to make osx buttons, especially rounded square ones, but i did not find what i wanted Anyway, I'm attaching a file, that is what i want to make somehow in photoshop (without the pink part, of course). Please help...

This is one of the most basic aqua elements. Firstly I will assume you are working with the latest version of Photoshop (CS) and that you have a basic understanding of all the tools.

1. First create the box with rounded edges.

We do this by selecting the 'rounded rectangle tool'

drag the tool to the shape you require.

2. Next we will add the effects.

Double click on the layer to bring up the effects box.

Click on Stroke and apply these settings:

And use these ranges for the gradient:

3. Finally we need to add the gradient.

Still in the effects box, select the gradient and apply these settings:

with the gradient using these settings

There you have it. One Aqua button with rounded edges.
