Anyways, it depends on what kind of smilies they are. There are different formats, and you most likely need a plugin to install them, like SmileyAdd or some other.

If you use IEView just download any smilie pack from miranda site, if you dont use IEView you have to download smiley add and any smilie pack for smilie add.

It's pretty easy to find packs for the proper plugin just browse the file listing section.
