Aqua-Soft ForumsI am currently updating my Mac OS Panther skin for Dashboard/WisBar.
Here is a shot of the old skin:
Below are shots of the new skin.
What I need is a resource other than snoopsoft.com. Presently they do not have a forum for discussion and I am having problems with alignment since each skin differs in its button order and arrangement.
If someone here would like to help me, that would be great.
A few new/updated items to notice on my current WisBar skin:
1. Battery uses new coding for real-time view of current state.
2. Bar is made to look normal thickness of Mac OS Finder.
3. Not shown is a phone button with signal strength.
4. Icon tray and bar are changed
The items with the Dashboard skin are as follows:
1. 'Working' dock (shows indicator when app is selected)
2. Window style fits open application(mail, ical, etc...)
3. all buttons work, except for close/minimize and trash
4. New battery imagery
5. desktop 'effect' using shadowing.
So...anyone up for helping me get this done?
let me be more specific about what help I need...
In the mail app, finder app, and contacts, for instance, the real Mac OS equivalent has a slightly different button order and placement.
As I see it, in Dashboard, I am only able to use one standard placemnt for all buttons.
Is this true or am I missing something?
Have I made that clear enough?
Anyway, I am sorry but I will also not be including a VGA version for this theme. I also will not be installing an Emulator for the same task as I barely have enough time for this skin.
Also, I am not able to take requests as I am basing this skin off of an existing OS and it was only originally intended for personal use.
Sorry for all the gotcha's, but I have to be clear.
