Dissapeared Fonts Lnghrn Slate 4051 winblnds

I've just installed the lovely color scheme of Longhorn Slate 4051 with WindowBlinds to discover almost all my windows fonts have dissapeard??

Is there a way to change my windows fonts to pitch black?

Also, how do I get rid of the windows display icon for windowblinds?

If not, is there any other alternatives to windowblinds that will give me Longhorn Slate 4051 without running blinds?
