How to reach system tray without any bar

I found a way to make window maximization just like the mac os x. They don't fill all the screen and the bottom dock part is allways visible. It works just perfectly. But to do this i have to oversize windows taskbar to fit the objectdock (standart version) and then select from docksettings "hide windows taskbar". (and dock have to be always on top to see full size of icons in magnification mode)

But now i can't reach system tray. Programs like babylon emule, ares etc. place theirselves to tray sooner or later. And there is no way to reopen their windows when you dont have a taskbar (or objectbar). I need a tool or a trick to reach programs currently on the system tray. :(

I cant use objectdock plus or objectbar. because they are useless i think :slant: . Though objectdock plus is not usable for the things above i told about... mac os x like maximization thing. Because objectdock plus hides windows taskbar just like windows itself does. It slides downwards and disappears. So when you maximize window they fill all the screen... dock is behind the windows or windows are behing the dock!!!....

So i need help to reach my tray without any taskbar...

Please Please Please Help ME!!! :(

Even if you can't thank you for reading this long question ;)

there are tray managers like systrayx or tray manager you could try out. you might like them.

thanks a lot

its not a big thing to do this.

Just place your dock at the bottom (it must be object dock standart version)

windows taskbar must be at the bottom too(yes it will be over the dock). Now click to dock settings because after the next step you can't see dock to open its settings:)

Then left click to windows taskbar and select "lock the taskbar" now resize the tasbar to fit the dock. The limit will define the windows max size. The rightclick and select "lock the taskbar" again

Now go to the dock settings and select "allway on top" on the main tab and click "Hide windows taskbar" on the "dock contents" tab.

Its done but as i understood that its not as perfect as it seems:slant:

Somehow taskbar resize itself and you have to do things again but while this things happen "lock the taskbar" wasn't selected for me. I selected it and taskbar didn't resize itself since a while

So i didn't know windows FX has this option maybe its would be the best to buy it.

But i use Flyokite and objectdock. Both of them are priceless and they are easy for my system. (winplosion for expose is somehow heavy program)

So i don't prefer using big programs like windowsfx, windowblinds or desktopx

But thanks again and i'll give a try to programs you say for tray icon thank you guys. :D

yes yess yessss

systrayx works fine its the program that i asked...

thank you so much dreamz..

But the tray docklet thing that icexswipe told is more than my thoughts:D its just perfect:D thank you so much

i will send screenshot of my desktop...

i guess the problem solved windows doesn't resize its taskbar anymore:)

everything just fine thank you again

-i have little question:) why objectdock doesnt show screenshot of firefox window when i minimize it. Objectdock does represantation with screenshot for internetexplorer but not for firefox?? screenshot appears but then immediately disappears and only firefox icon remain on dock.

idk y it doesn't show that but i found out that if u click on it on objectbar (you have to have the taskbar thing enbabled) so it minimizes it will show the screen shot but if u minimize it with the button on the window it wont weird..... well i hope the people from the makers of objectdock do something about it

ever notice that much of the programs we mod and stuff dont work with one another?? like itunes and objectbar and firefox too.... i bet if they did something about it they would sell more
