[Help] AveDesk's Icons keep resetting

[i noticed the Bugs thread ... i'll have this post in there...sorry ]

I've had to repoint all of my Shortcut Desklets to its correct destinations after upgrading, then I had to rename every one of them, and had to reset the Shadow information for each one of them.

I recently had to do this all over again and when I close and re-opened AveDesk, all of my Labels were mislabelled with the EXE file names, which I obviously did not put. So I want the label to be Winamp, it resets itself to winamp.exe and adds a sublabel by itself out of nowhere.

Does anyone know what is causing this and how do I stop it from happening because it's a waste of my time to have to go through twenty or so icons and do a repetitious task over and over only to see I have to do it all over again. I was using AveDesk 1.1 before deciding to upgrade to 1.2, which seemed to consume less memory. But if I can't find a solution I'm going to have to figure something out myself................... ...... ...

I have some helpers here.

1. Got to the properties of the shortcut and then click the [LABEL FORMAT] tab and then look at the bottom of the page and uncheck the [AUTOMATICLLY SET THE MAINLABEL TO THE NAME OF THE FILE THE DESKLET POINTS TO] --- That will fix the .exe problem.

Not sure about the sublabel thing.

2. Even though its not your problem, if you want to change the icon, do not do it through the [APPEARANCE] tab by draging the image like in avedesk 1.1, because it will reset the icon to that selected in the [iCON] tab.

I never upgraded to 1.2 I jus deleted the 1.1 folder and copied all my icons and systats configs to the new ones as well some desklets. I knew there would be some problems, so I decided to just skip em all and do some extra work.

I just rebooted and lost a bunch of settings in AveDesk 1.2. I did not, however, save the theme prior to rebooting. I think that may be it.

Yeah my icons also just randomly go back the first icon I ever chose for them...tried the suggestions above...we'll see.

Edit: Ok well it's on crack over here...I just moved a file on a different partition than any of my shortcuts are pointing to, and 2 of the icons just suddenly changed. What's going on here??
