Aqua-Soft ForumsI'm getting kidna sick of my old computer desk, so I'm looking for something new... I already visited like 10 different furniture stores and didnt find anything good... so, I was wondering if any of you guys seen anything interesting online... I'm looking for something not too big (preferably around 175cm wide... and maybe 50cm from the wall...) I was thinking about something made of glass... matte glass preferably... Any of you guys ever seen anything interestign like this?

what computer is it for? mac mini? imac? powermac g5 and two 30 inch displays? what do you want to put on your desk?
What I have done was simple enough - since there wasn't any desk out there to my liking, I went to a Glass Store and got a custom made .5" thick piece of glass about 3-4' wide and placed it on two oak finished file cabinets.
My original plan, which I intend on doing still, is to go to Mexico and get an old Mexican style door as my top then purchase a .25" slab of glass to fit the length and width of the door. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks the door in question will be in my home.

Just big enough for a pc case and 2 20" flat 
I'm not buying a new pc*, just a new desk, cause I had my current one for like 2 years already so I'm kinda sick of it...
*I dont need a new pc cause my current is a dual 3.0 Xeon and 4Gb of RAM... Just my Xeons burned few days ago, so I'm gonna get new ones in a few days

my "table" is a custom instalment on the wall. it's part of the wall now. my room is too cramped to have even a tiny desk. it's more like a low large shelf on the wall for my computer
if you are going to use a glass desk you need a mousepad. i don't use a mousepad by the way because my table is wood.
i haven't seen your room yet so i don't really know what to recommend. just go to a funiture store around you and conveniently find a comfortable table that fits
Yup that does look like a nice desk 
Have you seen the ikea one? cant find a picture of it on ikea.com but i know a lot of people have it... Translucent glass with a HUGE work area.
