Aqua-Soft ForumsI recently came across a program called NixSTEP. It's basically a really scaled down version of ObjectBar, but for free. The configuration is only manual at this point, but it's pretty easy to learn. I'd love to see what some people from the community can come up with for layouts.

Make it a shell/explorer replacement with integrated menu on taskbar display a la Mac Finderbar
in combination with it's current menu containing running tasks, lighter resources that M$'s, a GUI-ed configuration & full skinnability and I'd be very happy with it
