i just updated my avedesk to version 1.2 and sysstats to 2.5
i have set up 10 pidl shortcurts (folders and drives) , 4 systats (network, cpu, clock and weather) and 1 one notes desklet and my taskmanager shows a cpu usage between 12 and 21 percent for avedesk, which seems to be a lot .
is this only for my computer ?
2800 xp with 1gb ram and win xp pro
same here, but if I remove all desklets I get low CPU usage again. This suggests there are some desklets which draw an excessive amount of CPU time, but I still have to identify them.
Do you have any sublabels pointing to LARGE folders?
You might have to get rid of sublabels that tally up size. It takes a while to calculate 11GB of music/stuff.

- It's was a joke - I'm sure others thought it amusing.
- I know the rules, thus no need to make fun.
- Don't bother letting the community know when your humor has returned - no one cares. You can be quite impolite in your responses to ppl on here, IMHO, maybe you should work on that.

Back to the topic. I recently upgraded my sysstats to 2.5.2 and now avedesk is grabbing all my cpu resources. It only happened once so far. Still using AveDesk 1.1. I'm nok quite sure if it's really a problem of sysstats, or something else. Hope this gets fixed soon.
OK. After disabling modified duckiecal.ini CPU usage went back to normal. It's been few hours, everything seems normal.
mmh it s seems to be a systats issue , after disbling systats clock config , cpu usages lowers about 5 % after disabling systats neowrk config it was down another 3%...
ok its only with a few configs, most of sthem are "analog" desktop clocks, which consumes much cpu res.
