[help] wallpaper display properties including unwanted directories

weird...

normally, from display properties, the default folder that gets looked at is c:windowswebwallpaper and the only pics you have to choose from are the walls in that folder. somehow, my system now is including every pic in there AND my 'my pictures' folder (including stuff i don't want my cat to see ).

i want to get my system back to where only the pics in the default folder show up in display properties.

ideas?

edit: btw, my registry settings are correct (%systemroot%webwallpaper).

Really? Mine always took pics from both My Pictures, and the Web folder...there was nothing you could do about it.

Maybe it's OEM-related? What manufacturer are you using?

never did for me up until about 2 weeks ago. anyways, i found a solution: a made a new folder called 'pix' and moved everything into there, so 'my pictues' is now empty.

anyways, what do you mean by what manufacturer? you mean brand of pc? homemade. eh, whatever, i'm all fixed now, thx.
