hi im pretty new to all of this so forgive me if im being stupid.....i think the avedesk software is amazing and have been playing around with it for a few days.
just wondering if there is a msn desklet available that would list say the people in ur buddy list who are online? ive tried the search and couldnt find anything.

why not just use Miranda? that can be pinned to the desk and supports all the popular protocols..?

I know I'm new and all but...isn't that just plain rude? Maybe you're not having problem with Miranda but obviously he is...
So, Miranda can be moded to look exactly like Adium, with help of some plug-ins found on the official site (if you have problem with it, go there for help, there is a community forum made for that 
)

There's no msn desklet for avedesk. There are msn docklets for objectdock and mobydock, which allow you 2 change ur status via the dock icon though. I dont know about Miranda, i use Trillian, which is also a IM client which allows you to incorporate, yahoo,msn, aim, icq, amongst others all in one....you can configure Trillian nicely, ESPECIALLY with Danimator's Trillian Ichat skins, take a look at them on HIS deviantart page http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/12808531/
Furthermore.....you seniors (most of yall) wanna complain about new ppl not reading the rules, well thats some crap i post a problem im having on a flippin thread that just happened to be like a yr old...and i get b!tch*d at by seniors...NOT HELPED, but B!tch@d at. Besides, for a new guy, these things probably aren't as obvious as it is for you or seniors...
Miranda is constantly evolving - and if you get your hands on the latest beta/alpha which is 0.4.2 then it should all be ok with MSN - I only use MSN but love the look and feel of Miranda especially the amazing amount of customisation available.

If you have any questions post them in that thread and people will be more than willing to help (honest!)
