[Help] Disappearing favicons in Safarifox : (

I recently removed my Firefox 8.0 (with pixel perfect Safari mod) to install Firefox 1.0.

I am using hills Safarifox mod, and worked out a few issues I had.

The thing that I can't figure out is why the favicons in the address bar disappear.

They show up when a page first loads (but not always) then if I switch tabs or click a link,

they vanish.

I thought it might be the way they are removed from the tabs, so I tried hills tip HERE .

That didn't even work to restore them to the tabs...

I tried an item I found in the "about:config" settings......didn't work either.

Any suggestions???? :slant:

If not, it might not be suitable for 1.0, Hills' skins were made to fit 1.0 PR, but if you still wanna try it, you can try putting the code into browser.css instead of userchrome.

FF 1.0 (and the latest versions of TBE) are NOT compatible withSafariFox Mod

also dissapearing favicons is not a bug, hills made it that way on purpose (or at least that`s what he said)

You may be right though.... It could be an issue with something in hills theme not getting along with FF1.0

I was hoping that maybe someone who is more experienced with modding FF,

could tell me where I might look in the .css files or somwhere else.

I have some minor programming knowledge, I just don't know where to look.

Thanks Vague! Now the favicons work in both the addressbar and tabs.

I'd still rather they weren't in the tabs, but at least they are working the way they're supposed to.

And, I like that better than having them disappear.

so can anyone help me out with this little problem here for the tabs....notice how the loading is weird looking, as if the old default skin was still installed, and its interfering with the mod
