[request] Searchbar desklet searching your computer!

I have this crazy idea...What if instead of searching www.google.com, the searchbar desklet searches your computer using Google Desktop Search?

Since it uses a website, (http://127.0.0.1:4664/&s=**********&q=) I think it could be done.

I tried the google desktop search widget for Konfab, and all it does is launch the website with the terms you want. Now what if instead of www.google.com, you put in http://127.0.0.1:4664/&s=********&q= ?

There would have to be an option to put your own code in, because everyone has a personal code for their own computer.

Unbeliever says it's been thought of before, but I want to hear why this would be hard, and if Anyone wants to do it.

yeah but, My Google Desktop search uses firefox, and it's an addition to google.com, look--->

It uses Firefox to render the results. According to pazl, however, IE code is used to search the computer.

So why can't the website www.google.com be replaced with the Google search website? I don't understand. Is me missing something mate?
