Does anybody know aN emulator which has the ability to use the cd burner ? I've some Adaptec TOAST files which I want to burn out, but Basilisk 2 can't do the trick - Does one even exist ? Where ? and which ?
Is there any PC appz which can burn .toast files ?

let me be the first to... Welcome you to the board!
Well... I think Basilisk II Will burn from an INTERNL DRIVE, and it must be able to be used with BOTH MAC AND PC. Get a hold of a version of toast from eBay, WinMX, Limewire, ect... Toast must beable to run on a 68K mac, Basillisk II will NOT emulate Power PC macs. I don't know the rest, ive never used Toast

However this isn't the first time I've been here - I've been around for hmm 6 months ago ( ? ) I just think my account has been wiped so I had to re-reg. I'm actually hunting for a working version of Rhapsody DR2 since I just got an Intel based computer - I have the install cd but it's on a .toast file - stupid to do this IMO - why not make it on a standard ISO ? Weird. AMYWAY I have just been informed at the basilisk 2 board that this couldn't be done - it doesn't support cd burners at all 
I do have a copy of Adaptec TOAST 
- And I know Basilisk 2 very well

I don't think you can do that with current emulators. Hopefully a new one will come out or maybe a plugin for a already existing emu. 
I just know theres a certain way to burn toast or other mac isos. I remember i had to burn osx once but i forget.
Google that up and probably find out
Hmm I think I've tried pretty much everything - I've also searched google, but I haven't found any valid information. I've tried Nero and such programs but all of them have made coasters. An empty CD at the PC and unreadable at a Mac. - If you remember how you did Shak will I be very happy. I really would like to get my version of Rhapsody installed

I run BasiliskII and it burns fine.
What you need to do in order to load the burner on start up is use the SCSI option. To do this, you need SCSI drivers installed. Using Google helps too.
Also, you'll need a 68k version of Toast. sorry, I cannot mail it to you. Google again...
But, I've been able to burn many Mac discs with it, including bootable.
Could you tell me the SCSI drivers you use, Duckie ? I've tried Aheads SCSI and that only crash the Basilisk 2 frontend :/

Found some which works - Actually I just stumpled over the Basilisk 2 - Black Hammer package - not much fun about that 'cept that I got a working ASPI driver. But now I just realized that I've been a idiot - saved my only version of toast at my... da dad daa OLD basilisk 2 "harddrive" which is.. yeah you guessed it.. which I have deleted. SO does anybody know where I can find a trial of toast 4.0 or 4.0.2 ? Or perhaps somebody can "help" me in another way
