Hello, new here and have a few questions

Hey everyone. I've wanted a mac for about two years now, but, i haven't had the money so I'm stuck making my pc look like one. Recently I downloaded safarifox for mozilla firefox and I can't get it to work. In the install instructions it talks about dragging the compact.xpi and tabextensions.xpi onto the window. Well, when I do this it says that it isn't compatible with my version of firefox. I have the newest version so I'm not sure what's wrong. Can anyone help? Also, I am trying to use the Mac OS X Tiger skin from Steve Grenier for windowblinds. I'm having a problem with the start menu. When I apply the skin with the apple menu, I get a menu that looks like it is cut off and only half of it is there. There are no shut down buttons or anything, just a list of a few programs and a button for all programs. Can anyone help me with this also? If anyone can help with these two problems, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to AS.

Please take some time to read the rules. This would be a [help] thread and also putting something more descriptive in the thread title would help.

1. FireFox problem is caused by the fact that SafariFox mod by hills isn`t made for Firefox 1.0 and the supplied TabBrowserExtensions are not compatible with 1.0. Last version of Firefox supported by SafariFox mod is 1.0PR.

However if you look around (use search) you will find an updated version of TBE (with instructions) that will work with SafariFox mod and FF 1.0.

2. I cannnot help you with WindowsBlinds but if you post a [help] thread in the WB subforum at AS, i`m sure someone will be able to help you.
