[help] Editing bookmarks in search results in Firefox

It can`t get any simpler than that. I want to edit bookmarks in the search results field but i can`t.

For exmple, i know that i`ve got multiple bookmars for AquaSoft but i don`t know where they are and i`ve got lots of subfolders.

I start typing Aqua, FF displays the (duplicate) bookmarks in the results field. I right click and choose delete, nothing happens. I right click and choose Properties, nothing happens.

Is this a bug or what?

If it`s not a bug, is there any extension that can go around this?

I can edit bookmarks easily when i`m not searching, but than again, it would mean i`d have to go through each folder and find the duplicate bookmarks, instead of just deleting/editing the ones in results.

go to %data drive%documents and settingsusernameapplication datamozillafirefoxprofilessomecrazynumber.default

in there, you'll find bookmarks.html. just use your favorite text editor to search/delete/whatever.

You spelled hypocrisy wrong. Additionally, as Timan's b1tch, certain privileges are extended to Unbe. This includes, but is not limited to the creation of new groups, and bumping. Sort of like how all the mods/admins/newsposters have 11 secret accounts.

1. Unbe don't bump. Be a good example for others, boy.

2. IMO it's a verrrry nasty bug. It doesnt work for me either.
