[discontinued] iTunes Skin Manager

Ok, I had just posted that I was going to do away with iTunes Skin Manager and Creator but I decided after all not to.. I can't just throw everything away like that and thanx to everyone who posted here. It cheered me up. I will be releasing new versions of Skin Manager and Creator very soon which will be completely different than what you all are currently using but until then, please enjoy what is there now. Also, I will not be offering any technical support for DEMO downloaders. If you want tech support, purchase the full version then we'll talk..

There will be 2 new revisions of Skin Manager and Skin Creator made. Skin Manager will include a complete GUI revamp.

Skin Creator will also undergo a revamp of a different kind. The way skins will be made will change and the ease of creating skins will be made ever easier as well. The skin files themselves will be universal and Skin Manager will now use an "information" file which skin manager will read from to determin how to write the skin to the version of iTunes you have installed. So, at most you are looking at downloading a 10-20KB file each time a new version of iTunes is released. You can still use the skins you would had before.. I'm not sure how long this stuff will take to do but please know it is in the works.

This is very sad indeed. I was one of the early ones who purchased it. And let me tell that there is no better way to spend $3.50. That is nothing,all I had give up a stupid cup of lattae at Starbucks. And I was looking forward for some skins from the community.

Thanks a lot Runasoft. I will continue to use your product until they update itunes or something like that. It is very sad to see such a thing happen.

I heard great stuff about your software, but i didnt buy it yet, because i wanted to wait till there was more skins out.

I was waiting for my new card so that I could buy it... It's a shame that so many developers these days are just left out in the cold with no help and people ripping off them left, right and center.

I would have posted earlier, but I had to go to work.

Thank you for continuing this project. With the release of Styler and the continued development of this program, we are closer than ever to making our Windows machines looking like Macs. I purchased my copy last night and I haven't regretted it. I've forgot how beautiful iTunes can be (I don't use AveTunes due to Scripting Dialogs).

you can do it yourselfe, it's not hard, just open the file : X:Documents and SettingsUSERApplication DataApple ComputeriTunesiTunes Plug-insMPluginMPlugin.dll

with reshacker or something, and change the grafix yourselfe, it's realy easy..
