Aqua-Soft ForumsI find the 'What To Do' widget that comes with Konfabulator very handy. The only problem is the Konfabultor is shareware. Is there a version of this widget for AveDesk? It seems like it would be pretty simple to make.

Without pimping my own software to you, there's a very similar widget for DesktopX which does this which you can use for free while someone works on or considers one for AveDesk.

I wonder if it would be possible for someone to make a module that would convert konfab widgets to avedesk widgets...

Well without speculating on the abilities of AveDesk 1.2 - it would be highly illegal as konfabulator widgets are (unless the author specifies to the contrary) copyrighted.
I'm not qualified to say whether or not AveDesk 1.2 does scriptable widgets yet, so the possibility may very well be there.

Why would it be illegal? The widgets arnt being modded or redistributed. Skinstudio ports msstyles automatically, and as far as I can figure it isnt illegal or stardock wouldnt be doing it.

That'd be a poor argument...if it would be illegal to convert, it would be illigal to make, and edit luna...no permission was ever given, and a bit of the code form luna is in pretty much every VS.
But i'd be intrested in a convertor 
The scripting in AveDesk won't quite cover this yet. Better of with Kapsules for this type of scripting.
