Any of you hear about it? I just found out that its coming out... July 7th, 2006...
Pirates of the Caribbean 2
Actually, it is going to be a trilogy, all actors are signed for two more movies. Loved the first one. And to the contrary to what most people think, Disney does great sequels.
I only liked the first cause all the pirates had dreadlocks. If there are still dreads in the second im game ![]()

However I never heard about a part 3...Is this comming from a trusted source?
well... if you consider wiz to be a trusted source then yeah i guess...
I thought it was going to be something like the James Bond Movies. All different Pirate like stories but they don't really relate to each other that much, like there being an order to them.
Not sure if I heard this anywhere or just made it up. But I'm looking forward to the next one.
I can't find the actual press release (which was made almost literally the day after the first one went into theatres), but on Internet Movie Database, they haveHowever I never heard about a part 3...Is this comming from a trusted source?
Filming starting on POTC 2 and 3 in early March 2005 until January 2006
All of the cast are coming back, ALL of them (including Gregory Rush) for two movies filmed consecutively, and Keith Richards will be playing Johnny Depp's father should be very good.
Hmm... so Keira Knightley is in the 2nd one too? Might be worth watching ![]()
Keith Richards will be playing Johnny Depp's father
that makes me actually want to see this movie.
maybe instead of being undead in this one, they can just chop off johnny depp's legs and arms, maybe poke out an eye or two. For real, no special effects. Now that would be character acting.

i just love the humor and acting from jonny depp in that movie. looking foward to it. it must not dissapoint me.
the funny thing is that alot of these newer beautiful 'intelligent'-looking ('hot young') actesses tend to be marketed as 'natural beauties' but they have fake tits and lip implants. And personalities that are facades of "commoner understanding" tied to unobtainable looks - *looking for a special film audience male to fall in love with*.
Being British or French magically hides plastic surgery.
Hot != Beauty. In other words, hotness and beauty are not equal, thus are not the same.
Hot is based purely on looks, nothing more. Based on the "bangable" scale.
Beauty is much deeper. Personality playes a major part in this. You don't need to be hot to be beautiful.
Based on the "bangable" scale.
LMAO x100!
@Fascist: I'm actually surprised that you used a movie poster as an argument. Don't you know that movie posters are made to attract people thus they are photoshopped like hell? Please take a look at some real-life photos of her:

I want to add that I think that she's very beautiful on the poster too, but you can't judge basing on it. For the first time when I saw this poster I was amazed, I returned home and searched for some more photos of her. And when I saw these real life photos I was really disappointed.
Which doesn't change the fact that her acting in 'Pirates...' was very nice and i can't wait to see her and Johny Depp in part 2 ![]()

@reality: very very true. I think that in France and GB it's just not that popular yet. They do it too, botox is the most common component of bodies of all celebrities in the world. It's just that American mass-media are more oriented to celebrity stuff than European.

Have you also noticed the alarming amount of airbrushing developing in the latest movie posters - where almost all signs of being human are erased. Maybe its a stylistic return to 1950's style posters, but my gut feeling is the vanity present in Hollywood today is so high that Celebrities most probably have something written into their contract about how much control they have over their appearances on posters - hence the Uber-Airbrushing....
you boys make me giggle.
Hey! I am not even going to touch the scale you girls use on guys. That's advanced Calculus stuff right there with a little of wizardry mixed in (no pun intended).
