right right...how about an aveDesk desklet, that organizes your buddy list into something that looks great?
You'd have your buddy list minimized or something (or hidden) and you'd have a nice looking Avechat thiny on your desktop.
The chat windows would also be part of the desklet.
Come on guys, what do you think, good idea? bad idea? Can you see this be made?
Not with how busy Ave is, no. I say, if it's not a bug, don't bother him with it at the moment. Unless there are other coders here, this would definitely take a long time. Plus, we all use different IM clients--Miranda, Trillian, AIM, MSN Messenger, etc.

On a serious note - I think there are enough multi-protocol chat interfaces out there these days without adding another, I know none of them have the exact combination of features we all want - but the fact all of them are free, means we can't really argue much.
By all means - if you can find a way (via systats or something) to get a desktop chat relay feature - I'm right behind ya!
