(Request) Explorer bars!... (instead of finder clones)

Lets face it, all finder Clones have thier faults, whether they be slow, buggy or not quite there- Alilm was so close and then he ditched it.

So...Kabal's finder bar was really awesome, it was an explorer mod that allowed a panel of shortcuts down the left of explorer like in finder.

So now im hungry for more delectable candy, finder style mods for Explorer (Windows explorer bars)...

Some suggestions

* A search bar (like in finder)

* An icon/thumbnail size slider (yes this isn't in finder but it would be cool )

* Something which hides the ugly menus of Explorer...

What are your ideas? and is there anybody out there interested in making some of these cool ideas?

I followed the link posted by 'sketching' and it came up with explorer bars but they appear to be for HTML Internet Explorer, not Windows Explorer...

but i'll keep looking, your opinions are much appreciated keep posting.

I personally like it a lot and prefer it over finder clones, as it's fully customizable (icon change, text/no text) and doesn't slow down the system... It only works with .Net Framework installed

lol ya, Magnus is right Iva, I already use Kabal's finderbar and love it...but im looking for more Explorer mods that emulate OSX finder- once again a searchbar for Windows Explorer (Not just IE explorer) would be cool.

Sweet thank you thats awesome...I love the view changer it simply rocks. I'll keep my eye out for a search bar that actually works tho- the one from styler was only an address bar right? - anyhow i'll let you know what I find.
