Y'z Dock 0.7.5 Released

Come and get it!!! Y'z Dock 0.7.5 has been released.

Ver.0.7.5 beta : 24-Apr-2003

[New features]

- Added the option of returning the focus to the last active window when the mouse is removed.

- Added the option of not having a sub menu for removable drive(s).

- Added the option of choosing the degree of transitional smoothness in the magnification process.

- Added the option to show the number of items and file size to the RecycleBin docklet.

[bug fixes]

- Fixed the bug where in some systems the program crashed when the dock icons were locked.

- Fixed the bug where in some systems all icons disappeared after removing any icon from the dock.

- Fixed some minor bugs.

Great. I had a lot of problem with .7, It wasnt running as good as .6, so this is nice.

I love the smoothness sliders, its really the only dock w/ that kind of control (hint,hint MOBY)

No, you can just copy all these files over your 0.7.0 dir. What I did was extract Y'z Dock 0.7.5 into a new folder and copy my ini files, icon dir, indicator dir and background dir into the new build's folder.

k... I checked it out, and so far, its the fastest dock on my system ..

Anyway, to get the identical label font, set the font to Lucida Sans, size 10, and make the font shadow dark gray.

Also, the magnification, I now realize, is not completely perfect. In YzD, 2 icons to the right and left are activated on a mouseover. It should be 2.000001. i.e. the third one should barely move too.

Glad to hear that a lot like this new Yz dock!

But I guess, it's just me, I ran this new version for a while, and thought I loved it. Then as a test, I quit it and ran Mobydock DX. I don't know how to explain it but MDX still feels like the real OS X dock for me.

Its smoother. FPS doesnt matter always. MDX is just a lot smoother b/c it doesnt stutter at all

But the bad thing is that it doesn't support ATi 9500 or up (or the other way around I should say .... )....as a 9500pro user, I think Y'z dock is much much better than MDX at this point!

Its not really Mobys fault, but the DX part of the ATI drivers is CRAP. Thats pretty funny, considering ATI had the first DX9 card.

i agree with gable, although MD is great, it simple dosnt feel right.

and with this new release from Mr Y, i see almost no difference in "smoothness".
