Adobe GarageBand

I work in the radio business and Adobe Audition aka Cool Edit Pro is the industry standard. So seeing as how I have to deal with this progie on a regular basis I would like it to have it skinned kinda like GarageBand. You know with the wooden rails on the side. I've tried doing this in skin studio for windowblinds but I'm not having any luck. Is there someone who could design a "per use" skin for windowblinds that could be used for this?

PS. Bubba has a vs called garage band that I have converted for window blinds but I just can't figure out how to get the darn wooden handles on the side.

wouldn't it just be the frame bitmaps?

I liem the idea of this, I have thought of it before myself. I will have a bit of a look at the program and might consider buying it and giving it a go.

I share your maniacal wish for windows progies to look more like mac apps, but I think a bigger issue than the wood sides (seems like it wouldn't be too hard to get that to work) is the fact that the rest of the interface looks very little like garageband except in a very general way. Just slapping some wood on there won't get it even 5% of the way of looking or feeling like Garageband in my opinion. You'll have an easier time making Cool Edit Pro look like ProTools I think (which is better anyway).

Whatever the case, I also use Cool Edit Pro. See if you can get permission from Bubba to release your WindowBlinds port and share it with us. I'd like to see what can be done with it.

Adding the wooden panels to a window blinds skin is easy. Open up the two side frames in photoshop or your image editing application, and copy the wooden panels from a high quality pic of garage band. Save and use per application. Window Blinds will handle the rest.

Yeah I know it's one of the ugliest progies I have on my machine. Unfortunately I have to train people on how to use it all the time so whatever I can do to make it look better will be a blessing. I'll try to contact Bubba on the GarageBand theme and I also have the wood pieces but I can't get them to play nicely together. I've tried skin studio like Jesus said but no luck for me.
