Hmm, a real mac any day 
i'd like to have an imac G4 for internet and multimedia, an x86 for gaming and an x86 laptop for productive work and mobility.
and aston martin vanquish in my garage and adriana lima as my girlfriend. yeah.
I'd take a dual G5 desktop anyday.
A SFF x86 for games and other programs.
Oh of course and a 12" Powerbook.
Yeah, G5 (But i wouldn't mind an AMIGA as an alternate computer)
I am looking into buying a second hand iMac G3. They are the real iMacs. Jaguar is the real Aqua.
I also have an evil plan: Which I will not tell you. And I will make lots of money.... money for an iMac G5.

$499 is not AFFORDABLE?!
yes it is but i need a powerful computer.
g4 with only 256 of ram it's not what i need and 499 ¤ still for me too expensive for the spéc.
add ram add a cd/dvd burner etc...
still great as a family computer
well it comes with a cd burner. the 512 upgrade isn't too much extra and i tried the 1.42 one with 512 mb of ram at the apple store and it appeared to be as fast as the imac g5 and the power mac g5 they had! that and its good enough to run halo! now THAT'S a computer!
aquafied computer for me. g5 if i can ever afford one.
Real mac, definitely. For preference, a dual 2.5 G5 and a 12" PB.

@ megalo - if you want an OS as good as OSX, there`s only one choice, Macs.
Would you mind what kind of heavy work ur doing so u require a Dual 2.5? Or you`re just a spec ***** like most of us are? 
As for me, i tried the mini today and i was blown away.
It`d take it anyday over my P4 2.66, 512DDR w Ati MR9000 w 64DDR.
i won't debate anymore.fanboys everywhere.

yeah.... a new dual g5 would be nice... : *DUH!*
well...mac is to restrictive...and it has its downsides, at least with windows you can hack almost everything
but we all love its remarkable style, and an aquafied GUI will never comfort the external appearance of an apple Imac G5- its simply simple and amazingly cool to look at...
I mean a mouse, keyboard and screen- no other crud and you can get it wireless...thats cool.
To be honest I want a high over powered G5 hybid mutant for a cheap price...but thats never gonna happen 
it will if you wait long enough. the pentium 2s were so expensive back then. just be paitent and wait for maybe......3 or so years.
