Remember the old iPods?

I find it interesting, I didn;t know much about ipods when they first came. I found out in 3rd generation. I can't believe they only had 5gb and didn;t have a cradle. Ipods are now slowly turning into PDAs. I hope they dont end up like the Newton.

What are your thoughts?

third, beleve it they had 5gig HDs. What did u think, that their first generation was the same as the third one?

errrr.... it really wasn't that long ago that 33MHz was considered kick arse. I remember it like a nightmare I had yesterday. And for the time, 5GB for a portable device the size of the iPod was extraordinary.

Hey... the Newton was WAY ahead of it's time. I hope Apple gives the PDA market another shot.

Steve prbably won't, but a color version of a Newton would be killer.

hey, Just a typo. I always have the lowercase i and uppercase next letter. It was just a matter of pressing shift at the wrong time. it's like saying isn;t instead of isn't. Just pressing the worng buttons. Anywho, It would be awsome if the Newtons came back. The only problem is that the price would be awful. Colour screen MP3 players at $800 (AUD) is stupid. They would make more if they lowered the price. More buyers, more money. I have never touched a real iPod Photo before. I think the price of Newtons when they come back should be from 200 or 1000.
