few questions...

I just recently got into modding my desktop--here's what I have so far:

I had a few questions:

-is there a widget/program that will do the type of picture framing on the desktop that I did in Photoshop?

-does anyone know of good packs of icons for games like star wars kotor and q3?

-what is the best itunes controller widget or avedesk desklet?

-is there a docklet or widget to access the turn off/restart/shut down menu?

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Quickly post a link to your desktop, rather than the actual shot before someone kills you. (max board size is 500x375)

You should have posted this in the February 2005 Desktop thread (in Aqua Discussion).

For game icons, your best source is probably http://gallery.gfxed.com/. There are tons of PNGs to get you started.

Subtle Tunes is excellent (both for Konfabulator and AveDesk). So is Bernice. Search for AveTunes and you'll get a ton of results.

There are docklets to access it, but I think you will like iShut 2.1 more (it's an application that emulates the OS X Shut Down dialog) . Go to www.stylesuites.com for a link (you will have to register but it is worth it) or Google it.

In the future, please use search. You will find plenty of answers with that function. Welcome to the boards, and sorry about the flaming that is about to ensue.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated.

Also, is there a way to see the system tray easily in a setup like this?

Objectbar plus allows you to have your system tray shown in your dock or in a tabbed dock. But if I were you I wouldn't ditch the taskbar, it's like crippling yourself ;)

you could use a systray app like tray manager or systrayx.

Does anyone know about this picture framing app for the desktop? I could have sworn I've seen it before.

Topic closed.

I have no idea why people actually replied to your questions. Please use SEARCH instead of creating pointless thread with questions that have already been answered.
