[Help]How to do alpha channel ?

I have a transparent tiff file.

I want to convert it to tga (for windowblinds needs , why can't it use png like msstyles ???) with alpha channel (and then it will be alpha blended)

But i don't know how to do an Accurate Alpha channel !

ctrl+click layer where your image is. Now go to 'Channels' pane (it should be next to Layers) and on the bottom of this pane click..umm.....1,2,3....second button from the right (its tooltip: 'save selection as channel').

Save as TGA, when asked set it to 32-bit.

That's it. And don't forget to set tga images to transparent and translucent in skinstudio

Thx but it didn't worked sucefully .. i'm trying again.

I've found another method :

Save the picture as png , open it in icon workshop , save it as a transparent bmp and take the alpha channel.
