Cheapest Way For Me To Buy A Mac Laptop?

Anyone know what is the most inexpensive method for me to get a 17" or 15" 1 ghz G4 Laptop?

I heard someone suggesting buying thru a college student, but I need more details.

There are no other cheaper ways. Mac controls the price so you will not find much savings if any other than going through an educational retailer. There is no Mac competition that is how Mac stays in business.

You need to go to a college to buy it, an Apple store and ask for an educational price, or contact Apple for a store near you that honors educational prices. All you need is a student I.D. card from your High School, College or any school showing you are a student. Pay with a credit card if possible from yourself or your parents to have more leverage in case there is a defect in the computer or any peripheral.
