[Help] I want to make my own desklets.

A few desklets I would like don't seem to exist for AveDesk so rather than bombard the forum with requests, I would like to learn how to make AveDesk/SysStats desklets.

The problem is I have no knowledge of coding of any kind whatsoever.

I'm ok modding other people's desklets but I'm not sure I would be able to make one.

How hard is it to learn from scratch and are there any "how to make your own" tutorials for either AveDesk or SysStats? Preferably idiot proof and with pictures.

I have downloaded the SDK's for both but I have to admit I find them very confusing.

I have also noticed there is an AveDesk tutorial sticky but I haven't worked out if this is a how to use or how to make tutorial, since I don't have anything that will load .pdf files and all the programs to read them seem to be huge downloads and since I'm on dial-up...

Is there an html version?

I've tried searching around for tutorials but they all seem to be on how to actually use AveDesk

[Edit] After booting into Linux I have now been able to read the AveDesk tutorial in the sticky and it is indeed a how to use one. So since I was blabbing on quite a bit, just a recap -

I'm looking for uncomplicated "make your own" tutorials for both AveDesk and SysStats...

Thanks for the response, unfortunately I have too much going on and don't have time at the moment to be able to learn the things you mentioned.

I'll look into the multimeter though and see how things go from there. Thanks again.
