Nice as usual bubba, but whats with the registering? What's the purpose? Sorry, I don't mean to give you a hard time, but there are enough sites that make you register and jump through hoops to complete basic tasks, which are usually sites you probably wont ever visit again either. I understand that the VS is a free thing that you spent time on and doesn't cost us a red cent, but what do you get out of having folks register on the site?

i get nothing from it.. it's just a simple avenue for me to let people know that i have a forum now, that i will be posting beta's of my themes, etc.. etc..

On my forum is the only place you will be able to get my stuff.. like it or not, it's not a big deal, and it's not something that hasn't been done before.

I'm honestly getting very very tired of posting on these forums where people can disrespect/flame/whine all they want, meanwhile it's my hard work that created it? It's very tiring, when the majority of people expect you do create something, modify to fit their needs, then hand deliver it to their door, and asking to register at my forums is too much work.

I make a pay theme, some people understand, other dont, either way it gets my thread closed because this is "a community for sharing". I release a free theme, which i've done MANY times in the past 3 years, and people complain that they have to register on a website. You see where i'm going, it's pointless, so i'm done with these "communities" and now people know where to get my stuff if they feel the need, if not, i dont have to hear about it.

although i'm kinda new here bubbabyte,i have to say you are right.i noticed how many people have been getting at you.

you make good stuff.and to be honest if it wasn't for about 3 or 4 of you guys this wouldn't be a place for visual styles.on another note i dont see anything wrong with you selling some of them.just like me simple 3d models i'll give for free and models with great details i would sell.keep up it up man,you shouldn't have to spoon feed everyone.

Understood. I wasn't aware that your pay theme threads were killed. In lieu of having to rely on a site such as this to distribute your work (your FREE work), having your own site makes sense especially if you have pay themes as well. The more traffic, the more likely you are to sell some of them. I've seen alot of heavy handed forum admining as of late around here. Its not as fun as it used to be unfortunately.

Oh, btw, I found out about a week after you announced that you and your wife were pregnant, that I have a baby on the way myself, so I empathize like hell :D .

now for anyone that cares.. there is a poll on my forum now. i want to know what size icons would you like to see the compact menu in..

with a 5 style theme it's very difficult to make a compact menu for each icon size.. so i'm gonna go with the most popular..

new zip is rather large..2mb. sorry.

It includes 4 msstyles, winflag/winflag compact, and apple/apple compact.

Compact menu is for 48 X 48 icons.. enjoy

no there's not... but if you'll notice on my forums, in the wallpaper section, i'm taking requests for making such wallpapers.. so just post a request and it will get filled.. :)
