Aqua-Soft ForumsSomeone over at Spymac has posted a driver update which allows you to have two-fingered scrolling on recent model powerbooks. It works fairly well, albeit jerkily sometimes, but I for one like it a lot. The driver and instructions are available from the linked thread. Be aware that in this version, the driver update will revert to the original every time the system restarts (a good idea for this early-version software)

i hope this goes to windows too... actually, i checked synaptics (the same manufacter apple uses) windows registry, and it says something about 2finger gestures AAAAAAND 3fingers gesture... just, how to activate them?!

You mean by that that current powerbooks (from the old generation) will be able to have the same scrolling effect than the powerbooks which have just come out (1.67ghz)?

@bondjames, I don't know which ones it does I'm afraid, it works on mine (1.33GHz aluboook)

Run the command given in terminal and check if your PB comes with support for W Enhanced Trackpad or something like that.

i found this program that does it with a simple install its called iScroll2 and it works perfectly, even the circular scroll

It's the same thing, packaged with a GUI installer.
