Hi, I've seen a lot of screenshots of people who have put the apple character from the Lucida Grande or Handel fonts into their desklet's label. But when I do it, a weird character replaces the apple. Any ideas?
Also, is there a way to get my AveDesk folder shortcut to allow drag and drop? When I try it copies the files into the directory instead of moving them.
Oh, one last thing, anybody got the black icon for the program? I can't seem to find it.
have you tried holding shift when dropping the file into the desklet?
you can drag the files directly from the explorer without holding any keys. just drag and drop it.
to create many folder. just add folder desklet and then duplicate it as many as you like.
I haven't tried it yet to verify, but it sounds like the folder desklet is following standard Windows conventions (which is what you'd expect and want). i.e. if the file you're dropping on the desklet is on the same drive, it's moved to the new folder...if it's on a different drive, it's copied...and those settings can be over-ridden by holding down the shift (move) or ctrl (copy) keys when dragging and dropping.
Doesn't seem so with me. I know that's how Windows works, but I'm working on the same drive here...
