Changing Disk Drive Icons

How do you change the icons for A:, C:, D: (CD ROM), E: (DVD) and the OSX icons would really help

try Icon Packager by Stardock....I use it and it works well....I can change all icons though...

Using Axialis Icon Workshop 5.03, u can have different icons for each driver. I'm using XP Sp1 and it (Icon Workshop ) work fine for me :lol:

You can have different icons for each drive w/ ICON PHILE.

Icon Phile did not change individual icons . Only on a global basis.

Here I tried to change my c: Drive icon and it did not change it. I also tried changing my G: DVD-Drive and it did not change it. How come ?

WinXP non-Sp1. What are all the buttons on the Phile Prog stand for ?

Well, it works for me. Icon Phile doesnt work on my non SP1 systems though, so that could be your problem.

Were these icons changed in the angina file (systm32) ? or were they changed with a program like Phile ? and who has the ICO icons for these files ?

I have iconphile long time ago but never I could change drive icon with it.

I change some folder and no problem but the drive.... no run <_<

Download a trial version of MicroAngelo. After installing it, right click on any drive or folder and go to appearance and change the default icon. However this won't work with programs because their icons are hard-coded into the files, do you need res-hacker to change those.

You can change word document icons using Icon Phile. You can change most type of file icons (media, compression, documents).

The word (.doc) icon is in the DOCUMENTS section of icon Phile.
