i think the original creator was alexthemacowner or something like htat and once he got a mac we lost him

i stoped development for a few reason:
1. no one seemed to be able to run it
2. my version of visual basic didnt like to stay running for more than 2 minutes without crashing.
3. no help
4. windows media player sucks at audio playback (thats the only choice i had for audio player)... waiting on an alternative
5. no time
i want to restart development, but i need help, i still dont have the time to devote to development all by myself. i talked to beric a few times, but nothing came from that.
it is interesting to find people that still want a port of iTunes

this is the official site for updates, as you can see, there havent been any for a while considering i havent worked on it for a while...
i may restart it in a few weeks, depending on the amount of time i have, and lack of other things to do... right now im investigating possibly porting over launchbar, or something similar, a great app for macs!!!
sorry to be kind of disapearing from these forums latly, just been busy, and frustrated with my computers, they keep on crashing a lot with VB running...

you have done a great job on that aquatunes - hope finish it someday, cause the app's potential bursts out big time.
I used it as my mp3 player!!! and I did for a long time!! I realy love the app!! but latly I have been using qcd and winamp becouse of the sound quolety (it is alitle bad in aquatunes)!! I will help you if I can!! but I doent know vb! but If there is anything else then I'm here for ya!!
btw : the icon on the app is alitle funny!! he he!!! It is a blue fish or something right?

ahh.. so you use Proteus too..? umm... do you have the serial number? 
hmm. an app i haven't tried yet.
it would be really nice to see a good itunes clone. its such a great app, and there is nothing on the pc that is quite as good. the beauty to it is how simple it is. winamp doesn't have enough features, wmp has too many and is bloated. qcd is pretty close with 3.5. but i really want something that has built in cd to mp3 on hdd. i don't really download mp3's, i actually do things the right way and buy cd's and then copy them to my hard drive, so that is an important feature to me. (maybe because i want to be a record exec......)
anyway, i have a mac and i am more than willing to provide any screenshots and input. i would love to see it come back.
(and maybe now people will be supportive and thankful, not whiny)

please start it up again though......and if you know c or c++ you might wanna consider writing in c#, it seems REALLY stable
