Despair not. There will absolutely be an SP2 version. Right now I am just testing it. Both my machines are SP1 (cause I have no need to step up to SP2) so all the initial work and testing is being done in SP1. As soon as it works there, it'll be no sweat getting it dressed up for SP2. No worries. Work has had me very busy as of late, but I am still working on getting this finished up. Won't be too much longer.

Yes, Flyakite and myself routinely share our stuff with each other. You can always catch versions of my mods included in Flyakite's releases. It should make things easier for those who miss them or don't trust them . He has a copy of the current version of this mod right now. If only I could tell you about what he's working on at the moment. It's awesome. Perhaps I said too much already.

This mod is now done and working quite beautifully. Unfortunately, I will not be releasing it or any other of my mods here at A-S because I am sickened by the utter hipocracy over the poor and legally incorrect "definition" of ripping by the moderators at this forum. Complete stupidity.

@pazl: wrong decision. You don't release it for moderators, you do it for members. I hope that your mods will be included in Flyakite OSX 2.0. And yes I know what is Chris working on at the moment
Man please take this to heart. If you're releasing for the moderators then your missing the boat. I depend on people like yourself because I don't have the time to make every mod myself and some mods are just over my head. I like to to think I'm good but something like this is heavy. Don't lose sight of the main goal of the forum just because someone with a little bit of power in a forum decides to throw a temper tantrum. Your work is good. Keep it up and don't go away so quickly.
This is probably the most advanced sysfile mod ever made, I was already waiting for translating it into french, please didn't give up !
I agree with wss. pazl, your work is second-to-none and can be for the good of the community. we've all come a long way since the inception of aqua-soft...I know, I was one of the first few members here. I've seen this community grow from nothing. this modification could be the next step to a whole new level of macintosh customization. please, do not give up, and for the good of the community, I have faith you will do the right thing.

You're certainly right Pe8er. I have never really released anything for the mods (except for you, of course). It has always been a labor of love for the community. But alas, certain unfortunate things happen from time to time which cause people to rub each other the wrong way (not that I am adverse to rubbing in general, as long as she is over 16 and not missing too many teeth). But once it becomes a struggle just to help maintain the friendly giving atmosphere this place was founded on, one's enthusiasm for spending endless unpaid hours making mods and keeping GB's of bandwidth open tends to flag rather quickly.
With that said... I have, of course, continued my work (it's definitely a disease) and will be putting up a website that will serve as a centralized location for all my previous and upcoming aqua mods.
I will also be working in conjunction with Chris to release Pazlpacks for Flyakite OSX2, which will easily install all of my work as basically a sort of "system mod theme" for Flyakite.
These packs, in Jaguar and Panther flavors, will also integrate many previously unreleased mods of system dll's, exe's and app skins/mods I never had the time to share before, hopefully making for a more complete aqua-like experience that is easily installable and removable. The packs will utilize the major strength of the Flyakite OSX strategy of being non-invasive enough to work in SP1 and SP2.
PazlPacks will initially be available in Jaguar and Panther. Tiger coming later in the year.
Look for an announcement for a website link as Flyakite OSX2 nears its release.
My apologies to those waiting for the release of the account mod. I ask for your patience. I would prefer to take the time to reorganize and revamp my work for a single large release.
