Should I make a wallpaper?

I just wanted your opinions on this...

Yesterday I made this thingie.. a very strange thingie... Couldnt even think of a name for it...

I'm thinkin of turning this into a wallpaper.. you think I should? I've talked to some people from these boards, they say I should, but I just want the public opinion cause I dont wanna start on something so big if I know that people wont use it...
