What Is The Best Way To Change Icons?

hi there. i just want to ask, what is the best way to change icons. i mean the icon´s, that are not change-able by default. for example the icon in start-menu like: run, search, my computer, and so on...

i don´t want to run a prog, that takes much resources or breaks the system down. so my question is: are there little progs or better ways to change those icons?

For the most part if you want to change any single type of icon fast and be able to restore it fast as well, Id say use MicroAngelo. For some icons though like the Run button, you have to change that in the shell your using.

or you have the latest iconpackager from stardock wich changes every icons (start menu, file types, etc...it's really the best IMO
