DVD R: the - vs + dilemma - Aqua-Soft Forums

i got a question. which format is better? i just used + version and just bought the - version. i do not know which one is more capadible with older dvd machines and causes less problems. also, which format does dvd movies and xbox games use?

edit: forgot the word dvd in the title. can someone kindly do that for me?

well, from what I know most of DVD player support DVD-R, as for xbox and PS2 it depends on what mod chip you have installed on your console. I used to buy DVD-R for backing up movies and games. (I have a PS2 with DMS3 mod chip)
