Edit Posts?

I've noticed that the recently the edit post button has disappeared in some parts of the site, only the delete post botton is there.

It would be very convienent to be able to edit your posts after you have posted them in order to fix links and such and to reduce spamming when you make a mistake.

I was just wondering if the edit post button was gone for good and what the reason for that was. Thanks!
