Aqua-Soft Forumswas visiting neowin.net when i ran across a prgm called 'IM2'. i tried it out, it seems pretty solid. i was wondering if anyone knew about its skinning capabilities, can this be made to look like adium? here's the link to the site:

Well they've just released a new skinning engine on it by the looks of it, but it will be about another week before they post up new skins that are available. So I guess that we might have to just wait a bit and see how those skins differ from v1.4 to find out how much freedom we'll get for new skins.
But nice find! The fact that it supports new stuff (like video chat - although granted, only im2->im2 and not im2->msn ...YET!) and that it will always be free is certainly going to be a huge postive for it over trillian!
well ive been using this version today ... and i have to say, it has one KEY feature lacking in AIM that I use a lot ... Direct IM connection 
It didn't really work for me when I tried it, so I'll just be sticking with Trillian for now.
Danimator has planned to make an iChat skin when version 2 will come out, I can tell you that s gonna be awesome.
And yes, the avatars will be on the right side this time. So that may become a 1:1 clone...
