Does anyone have any experience with skinning FlashFXP ?
I already replaced all of the icons but the colour of the yellow bar at the bottom is something i'd like to change.
I've already looked through all of the string tables & RCData.

That looks good though... where did you find all the registry values for the icons?
pcw : it's a bitmap file with all the icons of the toolbar in it, just use resource hacker to extract the bmp, edit it and then replace

um no I just started working on it an hour ago, when it's finished I could release it I guess.

about releasing this : i'm just going to release the resources i modified when it's done, would be a bit stupid to upload the whole .exe file when you just need some small resources, replacing it with resource hacker only takes a minute.

I have my last exam friday, so I'll release the skin saturday or so. It's pretty much finished, just change the queue icon and I'm done.

looks v. nice, but may i recommend changing the "synchronize" icon? ie, the silver round icon with the two black arrows. its kind of jaggy around the edges and takes away from the skin.
other than that, it looks fantastic! good job
yeah I'll see if i can find a better icon for that or remove the jaggies, i resized it from a PNG so it shouldn't be jaggy, but i'll see what I can do.

is good but maybe the 8 icon from the left isn't right. Tomorrow i search a better icon

I think it can, it's only a modification of some bitmap resources, so unless they changed the resources in new versions it should be fine, flashfxp has the same toolbar in all of the latest versions as far as I know.
i updated the icons too as suggested, but the iSync icon still looks a little weird that small on a light background : see attachment
i hope this gets released, its awesome
