Frustrating AveDesk problem...

I am using an icon stretched across the screen as a taskbar shadow and have changed the alpha to a lower number in the appearance settings but after a reboot it is reset to 255.

I've tried saving the settings via the control panel and I've even tried changing the setting in the .ini file and have saved it but it still gets reset to 255 after reboot or restarting AveDesk.

Is there anything I can do about it? All other desklet settings save fine with no problems.

well, I don't know how to fix that bug and I've never seen that bug before either. But I can show you another way to get shadow for the taskbar, by using samurize do a search in samurize's forum, you'll find that config or contact me on MSN, I'll help you.

Their site is down for maintenance at the moment. Do you mean I can use a Samurize config in AveDesk? or do you mean to use Samurize instead of/along with AveDesk?

I don't fancy switching, I've only been using AveDesk a couple of days and I love it.
