I'm just curious what the majority's using, now that all docks have recently been updated.
So What Dock Do You Use?
I use YzDock, but Its a little slow. I would rather use mobyDock, but Im going to wait untill the bugs are ironed out. Cause I get weird glitches sometimes with it. ![]()

(shhhhhh. I use it too.) ![]()
Y'z is the best!!
Can't live without it!!!
i use both yz dock and the windows task bar (no support for showing running apps yet)
I use OD, because it's fast and has a taskbar. I would rather use Moby Dock, but the icons are blurry and looks awfull ![]()

Nothing beats ObjectDOCK!!!! Objectdock FOREVER!!!! B'coz its fully loaded with features!!
Y'zDock? Ah! I don't like that! NO WAY!
Moby? OK! I like that. But there's no access for easy customization. High sysreq. BUt its cool!!!
RATINGS:
1st: ObjectDock
2nd: Moby
3rd: Y'z!!!
I'm using Yz. yz response is a little slower, mobydock is tested very fast on my machine. but it just don't act like I wanted it to be. yz is perfect for me. if moby will implement active/inactive state (like in yz) when always on top option is off, maybe I will start moving to mobydock.
but I think it is way too long, i don't think developer will listen to one person wish. what is lack in yz is only dx9 feature to make it more responsive after idle. tasks feature is last option i want to have. windows taskbar is more practical. yz is so sweett
Moby DX 9 all the way
... I was once an OD guy and have had conflicts between od and the yz dock 0.6+ (cause i really needed the task apps), but moby just blew me away.
If you simply saw the osx dock several times - you'd definitely have hard time choosing between the 3 pc docks, but once you'd be using it on a daily basis, you'll have a tendency to use either OD or DX9 cause of the running apps feature - and furthermore, mobydx9 has better mag and acts as if its on a quartz extreme G4 with the DX9. The speed of that app kills me and i cant use other docks less than 40 fps (regardless of its cool features).
Unlike many of you, i use extremly heavy apps, like 3d applications and high def renderers and both yz and od drop fps like crazy. It can be solved somewhat with raising their CPU priority, but thats irritating to do everytime i feel its lagging. With the DX 9 i can leave it on normal and its a lot more independent.
thats my 2 trillion dollars.

p.s. Nothing against the creators of OD or Yz, of course, who amazed me everytime with their new releases, mainly lately with the high res icon capture.
I agree w/ Goku, its ashame I dont use any 3d Apps though, I dont da skills. Does MS PAINT count?
Mobydock all the way, has a beautiful taskbar.. SUPER fast.. like taha says magnification is perfect.. out of all docks for windows.
i have no problems no crashes or bugs that iv found.... my favorite baby!!!!!!

I try the new releases for all the docks, but I only use ObjectDock. It is nice and smooth and more importantly, it is the easiest to configure and customize.
The new version of MobyDock is pretty nice, but it needs alot of work to make it user-freindly.
Y'z dock is also very nice, but it too needs some work (not as much as MobyDock) to make it more user-friendly. I think it could also use some feature(s) that set it apart from the crowd.
yz and moby.
NEVER OD! 1st i can stand the stupid wide space between the separators. then there is the lousy animation, when the icons unzoom back to the dock.... they just jump back in all of a sudden, no smoothness. finally all the other docks dont require installers just unzip and use.
yeah although yz has no task function, it look and works better than OD. but now i just put yz at the side w/o magnification cause like goku said after using moby, everything else just feels slow.
After playing for a while with Moby DX, I would say that this is my default dock now. I've run it for a full day and tried going back to Yz and OD, but I found myself going back to Moby DX. This is my preference and I won't say this is the best for all. That's nice about having multiple available docks because it satisfies our individual needs.
