I have the beta version of 10.4 currently as my operating system. I'm tired of things going wrong, and just want to go back to panther. My question is is there a way to return to panther with everything staying intact? It says something about when stepping backwards with an os they store everything in a folder or something. I hope someone can help.

You could try an archive and install from the OS install disc.
The moral? Don't use alpha/beta releases for your main OS. Geeze.

If you used Tiger as your main OS, I think you just warexed it off some p2p app or site. Real ADC members have enough common sense to not install it as their main OS, it's in the manual: is it not?
