OSX has a screensaver called "Computer Name" that shows your computer's name in big bold grey Lucida font along with the Apple logo (graphite aqua) against a black screen. I hacked the XP logon.scr to do almost the same, everything but the computer name (if any coders out there know how this could work please pm me). Just drop this in your system32 folder and overwrite the existing file (backup first). The screensaver will show up in the screensaver list as "Computer Name." Even if you don't use it as your regular screensaver, this replaces the default system screensaver on an idle login screen so that you will get the apple logo instead of the XP logo. Try it out. Just another detail to add to our aqua collections.
